Roasted Broccoli

Guess what?! 
I actually have a recipe for you guys. I know, you're totally surprised I even have a post let alone a new recipe. :) 
Yesterday was a crappy, sluggish day. It was cloudy and rainy. Ugh, I hate those type of days. I really just wanted to sleep all day... Too bad Miss O didn't have the same idea. 
While grocery shopping for the week I happen to find a killer deal on broccoli and bought way more than I needed but oh well. Good thing I love it. 
I also can't believe I've never shared my Roasted Broccoli recipe. 
I totally make this recipe at least once a month for myself. 
Maybe I haven't shared it because it sounds boring but its delicious all at the same time. 
I love it and the fact that it takes only 4 ingredients and no time to cook is a great reason to share it! 
Serves: 4 
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 25 minutes
  • 2 head broccoli, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon EVOO
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Chop broccoli
  2.  In a medium bowl toss broccoli with remaining ingredients. 
  3. Cook for 25 minutes.

  2. You should try adding a splash of lemon juice to the broccoli, it adds a kick of flavor :) I make this all the time too!! I love broccoli, it's always inexpensive at the Commissary!!
