Running & Recipes

Well August 20th I can finally start running again. I mean as long as the doc says A-Okay! 
Like I said before I'm just starting the Couch 2 5k program over again since I haven't ran since last October. I'm sure most of you have heard and possibly done the program but in case you haven't I'll give you a little information. 
It's a 9 week program that helps you go from not being able to jog more than 30 seconds to jogging a whole 3.1 miles!
I love this program its so easy to follow and really helps you work up to those 3 miles. Plus there's an app for it on my phone so that helps even more. 
I'm so excited to finally be running again. I know I posted about this last week but really you have no idea how long I've been looking forward to this. 
Miss O and I have been walking to our post office (about 1/2 mile) every morning to check the mail so at least I won't be starting from complete scratch, although I know the whole jogging thing is going to kill me! Which reminds me anyone recommend a good sports bra for a busting gal?
Also, this week I'm going to be cooking up some new and tasty (hopefully) recipes for this little blog space! 
Cooking is something very new to me. Still after two years of marriage I'm still learning how to get this whole cooking thing right not to mention trying to make everything skinny and healthy is a challenge all in itself. 
But here's what's coming this week!

  1. I love the moving comfort juno sports bras! They provide awesome support when I run and are comfortable. They are a little pricey but worth it! Sometimes you can find them on clearance at 6pm.com.
