Honey BBQ Chicken Thighs

I've been on a chicken kick lately, really I could eat chicken everyday but I know the hubs would get tired of it. So, while trying to think of a new way to fix it I knew I wanted to BBQ it. Nothing is better than some amazing tasting BBQ chicken in the summertime. Not to mention not using the oven sure does make it less hot in the kitchen while cooking.

I was trying to think of a different way to cook chicken I knew I had to think of some way to keep the chicken moist while its on the grill. There's nothing worse than dry chicken. I know, its just awful. Marinating the chicken was a must and this one happens to be AMAZING! It was a huge hit in my house and I'm already thinking up an amazing salad recipe to use with the leftovers. I'm pretty excited about this recipe and I know you will love it!

Servings: 4-6
Marinate time: 3 hours
Total time: 20 minutes cooking

  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  1. Place chicken in a ziplock bag.
  2. In a small bowl mix all ingredients. Add a splash of water to mixture.
  3. Place marinate in ziplock bag and cover the chicken.
  4. Marinate for about 3 hours.
  5. Heat grill medium-high heat. Grill about 25 minutes or until done.
