My Weekend: Plant Comicon

First, I need to say HEEEEELLLLLOOOOO to all my new peeps!
Holy cow, I can't believe I'm almost at 500 followers.
I really never thought I would be an interesting person!
Ha, who am I kidding I still don't think I'm that interesting but if you people like it than I shall keep chatin' it up!
By the way, I make up new words a lot!

So for Valentine's Day I told the hubs I would order him Plant Comicon tickets.
Well I finally ordered them a month later but at least we got to go.
Saturday, we woke up early got ready and headed to the comic book convention!

I really thought it was going to be awful. I just knew I wasn't going to have any fun and I was going to be bored to death but I think Chris' excitement put me in a better mood.
He had the whole day planned out and everything we were doing on the hour. I was just worried about getting food (prego problems!) but it ended up being a great time!
There's a lot more to comic than just geeky things, although there were a TON of geeky stuff going on. Nothing surprised me and the costumes were pretty amazing.

Chris met all the comic book writers he was dying to meet. He was like a little kid meeting Batman for the first time. By the way Batman was there and the writer of Batman, Scott Snyder!
Which is a really big deal for people that read comics. We met him, got his autograph and Chris took a picture with him.
He met some other guys which I have no idea what they write or anything. I know bad wife right here but at least I know who Batman is right!?

Overall, it was a great time and I'm pretty sure we will be going to this again next year with a pretty little girl!
Thinking she can wear a Batman shirt with a cute little tutu!
I really should work on this idea now!

Scott Snyder! Writer of Batman!!

Brian Azzarello, writer of Wonder Woman
Yes, I had to ask the hubs what he writes...

I know this was probably a really boring story but that's all the excitement that took place this weekend.
I'm just a boring old prego lady right now and probably pretty lazy too!

Today we are going to the KC Royal's home opener which I know will be amazing.
We are going with Chris school so no beers, oh wait I can't have any anyways...
Dang, I love baseball and beer. They go together so good!

Have a fabulous Monday peeps!

Yep, this is my bathroom pic! I looked cute Saturday!!
