My First Field Trip in 10 Years

One of the perks of your hubs being a teacher is when he goes on field trips you get to go too!
About a month ago Chris came home saying he was taking a field trip with a group of kids from his school to Opening Day at the K. I won't lie I may have pouted a little about not being able to go.
If you don't really know me well then you probably don't know I love baseball.
Probably a main reason that man married me is because I'll watch baseball all day everyday!

Anyways, so he talked the other teachers that were going into letting my tag along in case they needed another  adult to help watch 13 kids. :)
I was so excited when Chris came home and told me I was going on the field trip with the kids!
We went shopping in the morning at Crown Center which was fun and we ate at this amazing pizza/sub place for lunch.
I always forget to take a picture of food before diving into it and eating it then I always think "oh crap, I should have taken a picture!"
But just picture the biggest slice of New York style pizza ever! Chris was in heaven! He's a big pizza guy.
I got this amazing grilled chicken sandwich. It was AMAZING!

Legoland is at Crown Center. These people are all made from legos which is amazing!
Also as much as I love my name I was always sad growing up I couldn't ever find my name on stuff.
So excited we can find Olivia personalized things!

After lunch we all met up and headed to the baseball game.
Chris talked everyone into getting there early so we could find our seats and watch all the opening day happenings.

Remember, we were on a field trip riding on a bus which meant we had to park clear in BFE!
Like really! There was no way I was going to make it to our seats without dying first.

Perks of being prego! This older man on a golf cart drove the hubs and me right up to the gate where we needed to go in at!
It was life changing.
Finally, found our seats and waited for the game to start.
I had heard over and over again the game was sold out which is a big deal for the KC Royals. I mean let's just say they aren't the best. I've been to games but I've NEVER seen so many people at the K before in my life. It was truly amazing to see so many people excited about Opening Day.
The Royals won the game and it turned out to be a beautiful day!
I'll leave getting car sick on the bus ride home story for another day...

Happy Tuesday!!!
