Roasted Brussels Sprouts

My favorite veggie would probably have to be Brussels sprouts. I know crazy but I just love them! 
I think my mom is really the only other person in my family that loves them so growing up we never had them. 
I remember the first time I heard about them I was probably about 19 and I was watching Rachel Ray's 30 minutes meals and she was making some stove top Brussels sprout recipe. I was always willing to try new things and I really wanted to try that recipe. I remember trying it and LOVING it! Its probably the only  veggie dish I knew how to make when I got married. And since I've been making the same ol' dish I decided  to try a new one. 

Right now I've been seeing a lot of people roasting vegetables and really is quite the smart idea so I decided I was going to roast my Brussels sprouts and have a new way to cook them for myself. Its super easy and its a great way to get your kiddos to try it. Or maybe to get you to try it for the first time!!! 
Come on, I know really want to! 

Servings: 4
Total time: 10 minutes prep, 25 minutes cooking

§  1 ½ pound Brussels Sprouts
§  2 tablespoons EVOO
§  ½ teaspoon garlic powder
§  ½ teaspoon onion powder
§  1 teaspoon dried parsley
§  ¼ teaspoon sesame seeds
§  ¼ teaspoon black pepper

1.       Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Wash and dry Brussels sprouts.
2.       In a bowl mix together garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, sesame seeds and black pepper.
3.       Then spread the Brussels sprouts out on baking sheet.
4.       Drizzle with EVOO then sprinkle spice mixture on. Toss to coat.
5.       Bake for 20-25 minutes.
