Its smoothie time again! I wanted to try something different this week for my smoothies. I’m kind of getting tired of the same ol’ berry smoothie. While I was grocery shopping the other day standing with the door open to the frozen fruit trying to decide which fruit to get. They had a lot to choose from I just couldn’t pick one so I picked up three different kinds. Peaches, mango and pineapple. I was so excited when I got home I quickly began thinking about the different smoothie I wanted to make.
So for this week I decided I wanted to make a Peach & Banana Smoothie. It’s so good! I even added some spinach leaves in it. You can’t taste them at all! Just taste really peachy and it’s healthy for you too! This is very kid-friendly also. If you have a child that won’t eat their greens throw it in smoothie and they will never know the difference! I hope you enjoy this new smoothie!
Total time: 10 minutes
§ ½ cup frozen peaches (no sugar added)
§ ½ banana
§ 2 tablespoons plain nonfat yogurt
§ ¼ cup orange juice (I just use juice of one orange)
§ ¼ cup baby spinach leaves
§ 2 tablespoons almond milk
1. Place everything in your blender and blend until smooth!
NOTE: if you want to use fresh peaches add about 5 ice cubes to mixture.
