Juicy Sirloin Steak


Today has been one of those sunny-open the windows-grill type of days. I was so excited when Chris asked me if I wanted to pick up some meat to grill tonight for dinner. Originally I had a soup on the menu but come on who doesn’t love to grill on a beautiful day like today! Normally we don’t eat much beef throughout the year but I love grilling any kind of steak and since we haven’t had any since last summer I thought it would be perfect to grill. I picked up a sirloin steak and boy was I glad I did! It was sooo good and the calories weren’t horrible. I paired the steak with one of my favorite side dishes we cook on the grill. That’s right we cooked EVERYTHING for dinner on the grill. I’ll be sure to put the recipe of our side dish in a different post. So anyway, back to our steak this was a delicious JUICY steak! I know you’re going to enjoy this one!

Servings: 2
Total Time: 45 minutes (4 hour marinate)

Ingredients
§  ½  packet of McCormick Montreal Seasoning (I used the less sodium packet)
§  ½ cup water
§  ¼ cup EVOO
§  2 tablespoons soy sauce, less sodium
§  3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, less sodium
§  ¼ teaspoon black pepper
§  8oz sirloin steak

Preparation
1.       Place steak in air tight container or plastic Ziploc bag.
2.       In a small bowl 1/2 seasoning packet, water, EVOO, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
3.       Mix until well combined.
4.       Pour mixture over steak. Place in refrigerator and let marinate for at least 4 hours. 


For everyone wondering no I didn’t eat all this meat but only way to get a good enough picture!!!
