Snack Time

So I know everyone loves a good snack just like I do. I used to eat just about anything from chips to ice cream. I love ice cream. I now eat frozen yogurt, I buy the 6oz containers and whenever I want some ice cream I stick it in the fridge for about an hour and presto, yummy ice cream!! Anyways back to my point, I know it’s sometimes hard to come up with a healthy snacks that aren't boring. So I made a list of good healthy snack alternatives to help you. Hope you enjoy!


1. Frozen Grapes (they taste like mini popsicles)
2. String Cheese (low-fat)
3. Banana and strawberries.
4. Frozen Banana (peel it first, stick in the freezer overnight- it's like a yummy Popsicle)
5. Low-fat Yogurt (I really like strawberry, orange sunrise Yoplait light)
6. Sugar-free pudding
7. 100-calorie bag of popcorn (try to get no butter, taste just as good)
8. Applesauce (sugar-free)
9. Raw veggies with hummus (still haven’t had the guts to try this)
10. Almonds (salt-free or sea salt)
11. Apple slices
12. Sliced Cantaloupe
13. Raisins (I get the mini packs)
14. Rice Cakes with peanut butter
15. Sugar-free Jell-O
16. Dried Fruits
17. Pistachios
18. Pickles
19. Handful of blueberries (I like to freeze these too.)
20. Trail Mix (make your own! Throw in dried fruit, sunflower seeds, nuts, low-sugar cereals.)
21. Orange or cuties
22. Cherry Tomatoes
23. Animal Crackers
24. Strawberries dipped in fat-free Cool Whip
25. Strawberries dipped in sugar-free chocolate pudding if your craving chocolate covered strawberries.
26. Parfait (build your own with Greek yogurt or plain yogurt, fruit, and granola) 
27. Guacamole with veggies
28. Cashews salt-free
29. Sun Chips (portion control! Buy the individual bags)
30. Sugar Snap Peas
31. Laughing Cow Light Cheese Wedges with multi-grain crackers
32. Pumpkin Seeds (pumpkin seeds, sprayed with oil (just a spritz!) and baked at for 400° for 15 minutes or until brown. Sprinkle a tiny amount of salt on top)
33. Broccoli and cauliflower
34. Peaches and Cottage Cheese (never had it but I hear a lot of people love it)
35. Watermelon
36. Craisins
37. Lime Sherbet (1/2 cup serving)
38. Frozen Mangos
