Filter Water Bottles

I have a new grocery store find. Well it’s not really new to me I’ve had mine for about 2 months but I realized I haven’t shared it with you guys yet.

I watch the biggest loser. Yes I’m that girl that sits on her couch every Tuesday just so I can watch it. For some reason it really gives me that boost to keep this habit going. Anyways, they are all have the Brita Water Bottle while they are working out. So I thought maybe I should get one since I know I should be drinking water but hate buying the plastic bottles (no storage for them) and our water at home has a lot of chlorine in it and I think it taste funny. Maybe I’m just being picky but I like my water to taste fresh and crisp. Does that even make sense?  So anyways, I went out a bought the new Brita water bottles because they were like the only ones on the market at the time and tried it. I think they are a good idea and the water filters good and easy to carry. Here’s what I don’t like about it I think it kind of hard for the water to come out. It takes sooooo long to get a good month full of water and after a long hard workout that is not what I want and if you don’t have the filter lid on tight it leaks everywhere. Had that problem for like 2 days because I couldn’t figure out what the hell was wrong.  Also they were like 10 bucks for ONE bottle and another 8 bucks for the filter. I’m all about savings so I hated to spend this amount on new filters when I don’t really like the bottle.  So I found something I like better.

About a month ago I went grocery shopping, I went to the aisle that has different water bottles and found this CHEAP and awesome filtered water bottle. They are called Cool Gear, ez-freeze pure water filtration bottle.  The bottle was like $5.97(at Wal-Mart) and the filters are around that price too. I like this one better because it has a straw-like spout. You’ll see when you go check them out because I know you will now. J It also has a freeze stick where the water flows through to keep your water cold. This is by far my favorite purchase because I hated water but now I’m drinking like 8-24oz bottles a day! I’m giving you a challenge to go by one and try it out. You’ll be amazed on how much more water you drink. And if you find a different brand you like better share it with me. I love trying new things J
